Sidney Hinks is a first-time freelance photographer for her final year at West. She is excited to capture the best moments of our high school careers. If you don’t see a camera in her hands, she is likely on the field playing soccer or lounging with her two dogs.
![While the recent Pineapple Express storms have detrimental effects outside of the South Bay, the aggressive atmospheric river still proves to be a nuisance for the drivers of West High. Foggy mirrors and wet clothes have become a part of the start to every morning. Faith Iwanaka (12) has had to “leave a little earlier than usual and drive carefully” on the way to school because, “the recent storms have definitely made the roads around [her] neighborhood more slick.”](https://whssignals.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/unnamed-2-900x600.jpg)
