On October 31, many families started off their Halloween Day at West High School, enjoying a delicious pancake breakfast. The purpose of this event was to raise money for West High’s athletic programs. It started at 7:00 A.M. and ended at 11:00 A.M.
The tickets for the pancake breakfast were sold by West High athletes. Each ticket cost $5—a moderately low price for the delectable meal. Athletes and volunteers from the Booster Club helped organize the event, as they flipped pancakes, handled the register, and cleaned tables.
Overall, the event appeared to be a great success as the waiting line stretched from Cafeteria 5 to the entrance of the gym. Although the line may have been long, the wait was worth it. The pancakes were accompanied by mouth-watering sausages, a slice of orange and refreshing drinks, such as milk and apple juice. As the event came to an end, the customers were satisfied and West high’s athletic department made a huge profit.
