Mr. Breeze, Mr. Oh, and Ms. Pollard join West as new math teachers this year. They shared some of their personal teaching philosophies and goals to help students at West.

While one may not find her in the classroom, she has been pivotal in maintaining school standards -- whether that be encouraging proper behavior or supporting others.
Meghan Tran features in a visual that promotes her campaign for ASB vice -president. Tran used posts like this featured on her Instagram to support her efforts in running in this election -- while also seeking inspiration from others around her. Tran saw it as an opportunity to consider what is important to the student body.
Ayleen Zavala (12) delivers an oral interpretation incorporating multiple perspectives of society relative to the sexualization and social status of Latina women. She referenced the behavior of men in society when it came to their treatment of this group of people. Using this performance, she intended to empower Latinas to fight against those who believe they are superior to these women.
Cambridge Dictionary defines “photography” as “the activity or job of taking photographs or filming.” However, this definition fails to emphasize photography’s remarkable potential to freeze time and capture one specific moment for future generations. It enables us to pay particular attention to the finest details and forever cherish the moment.
Learning new study skills can be life changing. Light turning on a light bulb, it can make all the difference.
