West plays their second football game of the season. During halftime, there was an amazing performance from our band and color guard. Band member Mayu Herrera (11) reflected: “I think that the music we play might be a bit of encouragement!”

Alongside our marching band, West watches the color guard during halftime. With all their hard work leading up to this game, the team was proud of their work and relieved with their leisure time. Dyran Monterosso (10) shared, “The football games are really, really fun, you get to spend time with other members and goof around.” She appreciated the time she got to spend with her team and the results of their effort.

All Male is a hit! From the roar of a crowd, West High’s All Male team debuted with all the energy they brought to Friday’s game. They had the crowd screaming, clapping, recording and dancing around with them. The Warr-zone hopes to see more of them this upcoming season.

West High’s cheer team brings their pep to the field! The team has gotten bigger and better. Laila Radi (11), a first year cheerleader, had a blast at her first performance. When she wore her cheer uniform, “people not only [looked] up to me for smiles, but sometimes for help,” and that’s what pushes her to come back to her team every week.
