The photo portrays Qinghan Jia (12) of West High School. Jia recently received a semi-finalist position in the National Merit Scholarship Program, which provides students with opportunities to gain scholarships. Jia hopes to become a finalist in the program, his journey portraying the fruits of diligence and hard work to other students.
