West Gets WASC’s Highest Honors

Congratulations to the West High community for being awarded WASC’s highest accreditation status after the visit in March. This award gives West accreditation through June 30, 2019.

Principal Ben Egan sent out the following memo to staff and administrators after receiving the news:
“Hi Everyone,
I just received great news…we received our notice from WASC and have been awarded the highest status possible! As we learned in the process, they no longer offer “terms” however, we have been told that there is no need for a mid-term visit. We will simply prepare a progress report after 3 years, and send it off in the mail for their review.
Congratulations, and GO WARRIORS!
Ben”
